Kelton William Beltz, 20 of rural Prospect left this earth on February 8, 2016.  He was born May 4, 1995 in Delaware to Vernon and Stacie (Reese) Beltz.

Kelton attended Elgin High School where he soared because of an amazing educator, Diana Hudson Carr Napier.  He also attended Tri-Rivers Career Center where he blazed a path, leaving many memories in the hearts of those in his cosmetology class and throughout his VICA Chapter and the school.

He is survived by his parents and his brothers and sisters, Quinton (Emily) Beltz, Marion; Kendell (Matthew) Cherry; LaRue; Courtnie (Jay Sinkler) Beltz, Marion; Kaitlin (Daniel) Rice, Marion; his precious twin brother, Coleton Beltz, Marysville; as well as beautiful friends that were as close as siblings, Travis Mudrich, Delaware; Ashley Mitchell, LaRue; and Katherine North, Richwood.  He is also survived by his beloved nieces and nephews, Jacob, Shyan and Kayden Cherry, Alexis Rice and two that were his just because he loved them, Kody Park and Alex Ramirez.  In “Unkie Kelton’s” World they were all his, no matter how he acquired them.

He is also survived by his grandfather, Robert Reese, formerly of Richwood; his aunts and uncles, Scott (Patricia) Reese; Phillip (Debra) Beltz; and Doug (Jeni) Blackburn, as well as great aunts and uncles and many cousins and extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Lois Reese; grandparents, William and Phyllis Beltz, an aunt, Kathleen Blackburn, and great-aunts and uncles that will now help watch over him and make his journey one of peace.  Loved ‘til death and forever.

The family requests that casual attire be worn to the funeral home because that’s what Kelton would appreciate.  They also ask that friends bring a photo if they wish, to be displayed and shared with his friends and family.
