Amy J. Pendleton Compton


Amy J. Pendleton Compton 45 of Westerville, formerly of Prospect, died Thursday morning June 30, 2016 at her home following a battle with many health issues, she was an inspiration to many for her ability to fight and the way she lived her life.

She was born March 19, 1971 in Marion to Eugene and JoAnn (Drown) Pendleton, they survive in Prospect, also surviving is her son: Alex Compton, Columbus, three sisters: Susan (Paul) Schweinfurth, Shirley (John) Hyatt and Shari (Barry) Baxter all of Prospect, many nieces and nephews and her special canine friend and companion, Marlo.

Amy worked at DealerPRO Training Solutions in Gahanna for the last 4 ½ years, she enjoyed crafts and was very talented at repurposing things, cooking and baking.
She had a soft spot in her heart for animals, but her true love in life was her family and friends.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday July 6, 2016 at 11:00 am at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in Prospect, burial will follow in the Prospect Cemetery, Pastor Steve Whittaker will officiate, friends may call Tuesday from 4-7 pm at the funeral home in Prospect.
