Clora "Tudy" Troesch


Clora "Tudy" Troesch, 71 of Richwood, died peacefully Sunday afternoon, August 21, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family.  She was born March 10, 1945 in Ivel, Kentucky to the late Beckham and Mindy (Moore) Goble.  She was also preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Lee Rye, her twin brother, Clorance Goble; another brother, Jack Goble; and three other sisters, Moverine Lewis, Christine Davis and Katherine Durfee.

On January 31, 1970 she married Ted. E. Troesch at her sister’s house in Marion, and he survives in Richwood.

She had worked as an assembler for Richwood Cable Assemblies.  When she was able Tudy loved to bowl, having spent many years in leagues.  She also enjoyed camping and going to bluegrass festivals and putting together puzzles.  Tudy was a true homemaker and was very family oriented, always taking care of her family when she was able, and she enjoyed the special times of family get-togethers.

She is survived by a son, James Lee (Stacey Shaffer) Troesch, Richwood; a daughter, Tami Jo (Terry) Sowder, Richwood; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; five brothers, Carl Lee (Bobbie) Goble, Norwalk; Kenneth (Geraldine) Goble, Jerusalem; Archor (Marydale) Goble, Vinemont, Alabama; Jim (Sue) Goble, Marion; Douglas (Mary Ellen) Goble, Vinemont, Alabama; a sister, Helene (Lawrence) Lawhun, Falmouth, Kentucky; and a brother-in-law, Larry Durfee, Grove City.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 25, 2016 at 6:00 PM at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home, Richwood with Pastor Matthew Craig officiating.  Friends may call two hours prior to the service, beginning at 4:00 PM.  Burial will take place at a later date at the Chapel Heights Memory Gardens.
