Maxine A. Blue
Maxine A. Blue, 91 of Prospect, went home to be with the Lord Friday evening, November 18, 2016 at the Marion Manor.
She was born August 10, 1925 in Marion County to the late Fred “Pete” and Edith (Chapman) Seebach. She was also predeceased by her husband, Ernest R. Blue, whom she married August 3, 1947 in Prospect, and he died May 14, 1987.
Maxine was a registered nurse, having received her nursing degree from the Christ Hospital Nursing School in Cincinnati. She had then worked for over twenty years for Dr. Gray in Prospect. Maxine lived a life dedicated to her community, including the Prospect United Methodist Church, where she was an active member. More than anything, she was dedicated to her family.
Surviving are her loving family, four children: Connie (Steve) Howe, Marion, Cathy King, Kenneth R. (Connie) Blue and Jon E. Blue all of Prospect; grandchildren: Jarod (Carla) Blue, Kelly Blue, Adam Blue, Mike (Shannon Tuzzi) Howe, Eric Howe, Jennifer (Thadd) Sherer and Brandi Harrah; one brother: William Seebach of Huntington, West Virginia; eleven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Prospect United Methodist Church with Pastor Carolyn Christman officiating. Burial will follow in the Prospect Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday from 4 to 6 PM at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home, Prospect.
