Ruth Pauline Mautz
Ruth Pauline Mautz 95, of the Richwood area, died Sunday evening June 3, 2018 at the Presidential Center in Marion.
She was born January 4, 1923 in Mount Vernon to the late Charles A. and Belva Lenore (Fox) Beery, she was also preceded in death by her husband Arthur Charles Mautz, they were married November 9, 1963 and he died December 3, 2007, also preceding her in death were her siblings: Stanley Beery, Charles Beery Jr., Harriet McPherson and Elizabeth Irene Wilson.
Ruth was a 1940 graduate of the Prospect High School. Throughout her life she had an immense love for animals, which developed over the years to trading and selling dogs, cats and her true love, horses.
Ruth always enjoyed being outdoors, she had passion for photography, writing and scrapbooking.
Surviving are her sons: Jerry (Kristen) Faine of Lakeview and Carl (Chris) Gillespie of Hermann, Missouri
Grandchildren: Jesse (Christine), Joshua, Jeremy (Lauren) and Kayleen
Great grandson: Austin Michael
And many extended family
Funeral services will be held Wednesday June 6, 2018 at 3:00 pm at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood, Chaplain Pamela Lamb-Hart will officiate, burial will follow in the Prospect Cemetery, friends may call one hour prior to the service.
