Joan Eileen Austin
Joan Eileen Austin passed away on July 24, 2018 at Marion Manor. She was born to Carl and Celia Cudd in their home in Richwood on Miller Road on January 26, 1937.
She is survived by her daughters, Faith (Rick) Mount, Mt. Victory; Jill (Mike) Kirby, Richwood; Joni (Terry) Hunt, Delaware; a stepson, Todd (Julie) Austin and their daughter Abigail, Marion; grandchildren, Jeremy (Joyce) Mount and their son Gavin; Kyle Anne (Chad) Lee and their children, Kenzie, Cole, and Ana; Abby (Chris) Widman and their daughter, Ava; Billy and Alison Mount; Kacy Kirby and her children, Lexie and Lucas; Karmon (Alex) Dorsey and their children Mason, Kennedy, Hudson, and Stella; Kayne (Kathleen) Kirby and their children, Mallory and Grant; Levi (Tesa) Williamson and their children, Conrad and Fletcher; Chaise (Danielle) Williamson and their children, Logan, Gavin, Bree, and Quinn; Breckinridge (Megan) Williamson and their children, Jax and Ellie; Blare (Mallory) Garrison and their children Kenzie, Rocco, and Savannah; her sister, Carla (Kevin) Buchanan of Colorado and her former husband Daniel Laughrey, Marion. A sister, Janet Cross preceded her in death.
Joan loved her family very much. Joan had a passion for caring for people which she had the chance to pursue in her role working for Dr. Drake early in her career.
A celebration of life will be held Sunday, August 5, 2018 from 1 to 3 PM at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home, Richwood.
