Clevestine Cline


Clevestine Cline 65, of LaRue, died peacefully late Monday evening December 3, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born July 17, 1953 in McDowell, Kentucky to the late David E. and Elsa (Gayheart) Edwards, she was also preceded in death by her brother John David Edwards

On April 5, 1969 in Wise, West Virginia, she married Denver Lewis Cline Sr. and he survives, also surviving are her children: Christine Danielle (Kyle) Farley of Marion and Denver Lewis (Heather) Cline Jr. of Marion
Grandchildren: Denver Lewis Cline III and Hannah E.C. Farley

She enjoyed cooking, watching and analyzing movies, shopping for the best deals, gardening (tending to her very large garden), canning and freezing what she grew, taking care of her fruit trees, caring for her hummingbirds that came back every season, she always had one special dog in her life, and she loved her grandchildren very much.

She was a loving wife and a dedicated mother who loved to laugh and listen to music. A unique and strong woman that was the center of her family. She battled with cancer for two years, she was a shining example of bravery for her family.

Funeral services will be held Friday December 7, 2018 at 1:00 pm at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in LaRue, Pastor Russell Howard will officiate, burial will follow in the LaRue Cemetery, friends may call two hour prior to the service beginning at 11:00 am at the funeral home in LaRue
