Cora Dell Johnston Pfister
Cora Dell Johnston Pfister, 94, of Richwood, died Monday morning November 23, 2020 at Walnut Crossing in Marysville.
She was born November 22, 1926 in Ostrander to the late Alexander Elmer and Lucille (Godfrey) Sours, she was also preceded in death by her first husband, Donald E. Johnston, they were married June 3, 1944 and he died March 13, 1987, she was also predeceased by a grandson and a sister Mary Carr.
Cora was a 1944 graduate of the Magnetic Springs High School. She had worked as a salesclerk at the former Warner’s Five and Dime in Richwood and Lazarus. She was a member of the Union Baptist Church. Cora was very crafty, she enjoyed working with her flowers, crocheting and knitting. She had also been a member of the Richwood Civic Center.
Surviving is her husband: Don Pfister Sr., they were married August 27, 1996 in Richwood. Also surviving are her children: Linda Mouser of Haydenville, Mike (Cheryl) Johnston of Galena, Timothy (Kay) Johnston of South Carolina, Tom (Kaki) Johnston of Richwood and Jack (Tana) Johnston of Richwood
Seven grandchildren and numerous great and great great grandchildren
Siblings: Edna (Bob) Wilcox of Richwood, Ruth Faust of Cardington and Helen Dunn of Marion
Graveside services (everyone is welcome) will be held Monday November 30, 2020 at 11:00 am at the Claibourne Cemetery, Pastor Tim Peria will officiate. Private family calling hours will be held.
