To say that farming was in his blood would be an understatement, he was one of those guys you could not keep out of the tractor. He loved farming and passed that love onto his family. Along with this, he was very determined to mow his own yard, even up to the age of 90.

Lowell enjoyed being outdoors, watching the birds and other animals or just taking in a beautiful flower. He also loved doing word searches and listening to country gospel music.
But if you would ask him what he was most proud of, he would say “My Family”, he loved them all and cherished the time he could spend with them.
