Terri Lynn Lutz

Heaven gained Terri Lynn Lutz, 59, of Greenville after a long and courageous battle with cancer on January 10, 2021. The love and support of her family and friends were known and gave her great strength. She never doubted God’s plan for her life, she just made sure to impact people’s lives and make the absolute most of the time she had.

She was born April 16, 1961 in Kenton. For those who knew Terri, they know that she was caring and extremely loving. She loved the color yellow and tulips, which is fitting, given she was so bright and brought happiness to so many. She always put her family first and being with them and sharing experiences was the greatest joy of her life.

She loved to crochet, cross-stitch and she also enjoyed crafting. She was an excellent cook and was awarded many first-place prizes for her baked goods at the Darke County Fair. She was also an integral part in establishing the "Amputees In Motion" support group in Greenville — a cause she was extremely passionate about given her personal experiences. Terri worked in many fields, most recently at Wayne Hospital Outpatient Rehabilitation Center.

She is survived by her husband, Jeff Lutz and Boston Terrier (Jax) of Greenville; her son, Josh Eblin of South Lyon, MI; her daughter Tiffany (Greg) House of Dublin; and her two grandchildren, Xander and Amelia. She will also be deeply missed by her father and mother, Clair and Norma Carlyle of Prospect and her three brothers, David (Jan) Carlyle of Marion; Stan (Laurie) Carlyle of Marion; Tracy (Pam) Carlyle of Marion; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Saturday, January 16, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the Fite Memorial Baptist Church with Pastor David Bateman officiating. Masks will be required by all in attendance. Burial will follow in the Prospect Cemetery with her brother, Pastor David Carlyle officiating. Friends may call on Saturday at the church 1 hour prior to the service.

Memorial gifts may be made to the Darke County Cancer Society, 1111 Sweitzer St. STE C, Greenville, OH 45331.
