Dennis K. Nauman
Dennis K. Nauman, 84 of Richwood, died Wednesday morning January 20, 2021 on his birthday and anniversary at the O.S.U. Medical Center.
He was born January 20, 1937 in Columbus Grove to the late Roy and Margaret (Gerlach) Nauman, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Charles Nauman.
Dennis had retired from the Marion Correctional Institute in maintenance. He had served in the Air Force Reserves when younger. He was a member of the Hiram Lodge #18 F. A.M. in Delaware.
To say that Dennis loved sports would be an understatement. He played football in high school. But he truly cherished watching his kids and grandkids in all their events, he and Norma rarely missed going to the games.
In his younger days he enjoyed drag racing and hunting. Dennis was very mechanically inclined; he could fix about anything and was known to enjoy “tinkering”.
Surviving is his wife, Norma J. (Glaze) Nauman, they were married January 20, 1961 in Delaware.
Also surviving are their children: Brian (Belinda) Nauman of Richwood, Bob (Roxie) Nauman of Marysville, Denise K. (Mike Chapman) Nauman of Maryville and Kim J. (Rodney) Blackburn of Galena
Grandchildren: Ben (Molly) Nauman, Breanna (Marvin Jackson) Nauman, Zachary (Devin Ardner) Blackburn, Michael Dennis Blackburn, Maggie (Evan Kilkenny) Blackburn and Angie (Chad) Landsettle
Great grandchildren: Bruin, Annaleigh and Griffin Nauman and Logan and Marisa Landsettle
Graveside services will be held Saturday January 23, 2021 at 12 noon at the Claibourne Cemetery, Pastor Judy Cramer will officiate. Private family calling hours will be held.
