Ray Clark


Ray Clark, 85 of LaRue, died peacefully Friday January 29, 2021 at his home.

He was born September 19, 1935 in LaRue to the late Clifford and Rosa Mae (Van Sickle) Clark. He was the last surviving sibling in his family, being predeceased by David, Willis, John, Gary and Walter Clark, Kathryn Cole, Ethel Miller, Margaret Gallant and Fern Redmon.

Ray was a graduate of the LaRue High School, he then graduated from Ashland University, becoming a Registered Nurse. Ray served our country in the United States Army as a nurse.

He then worked for 29 years at the Smith Clinic/Med Center Hospital in Marion in purchasing.
Ray had been a member of the former St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in LaRue and after it closed attended the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Kenton.

Surviving are many nieces and nephews and extended family, including Linda (Bob) LeMay and Frances Kirk, who looked after Ray.

Graveside services will be held Friday February 5, 2021at 11:00 am at the LaRue Cemetery, Father Jeffrey Tigyer will officiate. There will be Military Honors conducted Marion Area United Veterans Council.
