Donna Ruth Ehret
Donna Ruth Ehret, 93 of Richwood, died peacefully Friday evening March 12, 2021 in Marion.
She was born August 16, 1927 in Delaware County to the late David and Edith (Strohl) Davis, she was also preceded in death by her husband David C. Ehret, they were married April 12, 1953 at the First Church of the Nazarene in Marion and he died February 3, 2020, she was also predeceased by a brother, Robert Davis.
Donna was a 1945 graduate of the York High School and had attended the Marion Business College. She was a true homemaker in every sense of the word, she enjoyed gardening, and crocheting, she had even won some awards at the Richwood Fair for her crocheting. Her family remembers her good cooking and the time she spent with them around the kitchen table.
Donna was a dedicated member of the Grace Baptist Church in Marion.
Surviving are her children: Charles (Shelly) Ehret of Richwood, Sally (Lloyd) Baker of Proctorville, Mary Ehret of Richwood, James (Karen) Ehret of Norwalk, Paul (Patty) Ehret of Marion, Betty (Brian) Frey of Bellefontaine
grandchildren: Chuck (Jennifer) Ehret, David (Ginger) Baker, Martha (Matthew) Hogge, Dylon Ehret, Tiarra Ehret, Jeff (Courtney) Davis, Jeffrey (Kara) Frey, Brandon Frey
great grandchildren: Kalynne Ehret, Kennedy Ehret, baby girl Ehret, Lauren Baker, Marley Baker, Zane Baker, Winters Hogge, Madeline Claire Hogge, Michael Bishop, Maddison Davis, Emmerson Davis, Krewe Frey, Kinsley Frey, Benson Frey and Keagan Frey.
The family would like to extend their deepest thanks to Joyce's Angels, as well as Holly, her caregivers for the last several years.
Private calling hours and funeral services will be held Wednesday March 17, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood, Pastor Nicholas Worden will officiate, burial will follow in the Price Cemetery.
