Marlin Lee Aills


Marlin Lee Aills, 69 of Delaware, died Wednesday January 5, 2022 at the Grady Memorial Hospital.

He was born November 20, 1952 in Washington Court House to the late Joseph Marlin Aills and Marlene (Gilley) Aills Mann, he was also preceded in death by a brother: Doug Aills

Marlin was a 1972 graduate of the Delaware Hayes High School. He was retired from the Kroger Bakery in Columbus where he worked for 35 yrs. He was a dedicated member of the Eastside Mission Church in Delaware.

Marlin enjoyed going off road with his vehicles and spending time with his devoted family. He also enjoyed collecting things (some might say a little too much). Marlin was one of those guys that could fix just about anything.

Marlin will be remembered as a very generous and caring person. He was always taking care of others before thinking of himself.

Surviving is his wife, Brenda Kay (Weiser), they were married March 12, 1976 in Delaware, their children: Valerie (Jesse) Clark of Marion, Melanie (Chris) Robinson of Sarasota, Florida and Joseph Aills of Delaware
Grandchildren: Devin, Matthew, Olive and Trinity and Great Grandson: Bow
Siblings: Steve (Sharon) Aills of Prospect, Jeff (Jill) Aills of Sacramento, Ca.  and Karyol (Al) Roop of Delaware
numerous nieces nephews and extended family

Funeral services will be held Thursday January 13, 2022 at 1:00 pm at the Eastside Mission Church in Delaware, Pastor Donnie Akers will officate, burial will follow in the Claibourne Cemetery, Richwood. Friends may call two hours prior to the service beginning at 11 am at the church.
