Zachary Lincoln Taylor


Zachary Lincoln Taylor, 39 of Radnor, died Wednesday January 26, 2022 at the Select Specialty Hospital in Newark following a lengthy health battle.

He was born February 21, 1982 in Delaware to Tom Taylor and Gina (Gorgas) Moseley.

Zach was a 2000 graduate of the Buckeye Valley High School. While in school, he belonged to 4-H and FFA, he had been Vice President of his FFA Chapter. He had received his State and American Farmers Degree. He had also traveled to England and Scotland with the “People to People” student exchange program.

Zach was a true farmer at heart. He loved being outside working the ground, going to pig shows with Shelby, baling hay and straw and just doing all the things that need done on a farm.

He was on the Board of Directors of the Delaware County Farm Bureau. He was a member of the Young Ag Professionals and was a Beck’s Hybrid Seed Dealer.

Zach was the type of person that would think of others before himself, he had a very giving heart. He was also a kidney and pancreas transplant recipient.

Surviving are his parents: Tom (Joanne) Taylor of Ostrander and Gina (Ralph) Moseley of Ostrander
His wife: Stephanie (Russell) Taylor, they were married November 10, 2007 at the Fulton Creek Friends Church and their daughter, Shelby
Siblings: Brookston Taylor of Delaware, Mark (Fara) Moseley of Greenfield and Michael (Tracy) Moseley of Radnor
Grandparents: Aldena Taylor of Marysville and Bob Easterday of Indian Lake
Nieces and nephews: Braxton, Parker, Rylin, Brant, Brody and Emmett
Mother and father-in-law: Allen and Candice Russell of Ostrander
Sister-in-law: Jennifer (Jared) Cline of Waldo and their son Lincoln
Special friends who were like brothers to him: Jordan Moore and Jeff Hecht

He was preceded in death by grandparents: Lowell Taylor, Charles Gorgas and Sandra Easterday

Funeral services celebrating Zach’s Life will take place Monday January 31, 2022 at 11:00 am at the Fulton Creek Friends Church, Joel Sutton (Zach’s uncle) and Pastor Art Minnehan will officiate. Burial will follow in the Shoup (Thompson Twp.) Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday from 2-5 pm at the Church.
