Ethan Michael Sessler


Ethan Michael Sessler, 31 of Richwood, passed away peacefully Thursday evening September 8, 2022 in hospice care with his mother & Adam by his side at The Ohio State University Hospital Wexner Medical Center after a lifelong battle with diabetes and its complications.

He was born April 26, 1991 in Marysville. Ethan was a private man that loved his boys more than anything. One of his most treasured memories was taking them to fish any time of the day or night. He loved the simple life of being outdoors. Some of his favorite past times was to go hunting, fishing at the Richwood Lake or vacationing in his favorite place, Myrtle Beach. He was recently wanting to make arrangements so he could go back just one more time.

He was predeceased by maternal grandparents, Frank & Vi Blackburn and paternal grandfather, Marion Sessler.
He is survived by his children, Grason, Gavin, Holden and Preston.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday September 15, 2022 at 11:00 am at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood, Pastor Joseph Rhea will officiate. Burial will follow in the Byhalia Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 5-7 pm at the funeral home in Richwood.
