Leslie J. Klaiber


Leslie J. Klaiber, 59 of Richwood, died Friday October 28, 2022 at the Marion General Hospital. It could be said that she “Fought Hard, but Loved Harder”.

Leslie was born July 3, 1963 in Marion to the late John and Cora (Huntsman) Ledley. She was also preceded in death by a son, Travis Ray Gilliam, brothers, Dennis Ledley and Jeff Ledley, whom she lovingly cared for.

Leslie was a wonderful caretaker, she always put her family before herself. She loved all her family, especially her grandbabies.

She was a talented crafter, making grapevines and lanterns for many. She also was known for decorating her home, it could be said that she enjoyed changing the décor on a more than regular basis.

Leslie loved her cats and was a huge OSU Buckeye fan.

On October 13, 2012 in Essex, she married Dennis Klaiber and he survives, also surviving are her children, Travis S. (Lisa) Gilliam of Marysville and Chelsea M. Gilliam of Richwood, step-children, Angela (Michael) Landon of Marion, Jonathan Klaiber of Richwood and Marcus Klaiber of Marysville

Siblings, Penny Ledley Thomas of Marion and Donald (Cynthia) Ledley of Fairview, Tn.
sister-in-law, Lora Ledley of Richwood
13 grandchildren

Nieces and nephew, Jason Thompson, Jaime D. Thompson Munyon, Torrie Ledley, Jessee Ledley, Malissa Ledley and Lyndsee (Roger) Ledley Janson
And many extended family

Funeral Services will be held Thursday November 3, 2022 at 11:00 am at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood. Pastor Joseph Rhea will officiate. Burial will follow in the Claibourne Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 5-7 pm at the funeral home in Richwood
