Patricia Arlene Harper
Patricia Arlene Harper, 82 of Richwood, died peacefully Friday May 12, 2023 at her home.
She was born September 4, 1940 in Richwood to the late Clifton and Dorothy (Wolford) Newman. She was also preceded in death by her son, Charles “Chuck” Coleman, her daughter, Cathy Jo Furrow and siblings, Shirley Swihart and Robert Newman.
Pat had worked for over 25 years at Abbotts in Marion. She also babysat many kids in the area for many years. She loved her OSU Buckeyes and the Dallas Cowboys. Pat was a huge fan of Elvis, Hank Williams Jr., Ricky Van Shelton and LeBron James.
She will be remembered as a fighter with an ornery spirit, who deeply loved her family.
Surviving are her grandchildren: Kara (Matt Roberts) Furrow, Jarod Furrow and Lance (Amie) Coleman, all of Richwood
daughter-in-law, Shelly Coleman of Marysville
Funeral services will be held Saturday May 20, 2023 at 11:00 am at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood. Pastor Joseph Rhea will officiate. Burial will follow in the Claibourne Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 5-7 pm at the funeral home in Richwood.
