Ollie graduated from Springfield High School in Akron, in 1938. Ollie was a long-time resident of Prospect and most recently resided with her son, Richard, in Richwood. She retired from B. F. Goodrich in Green Camp in 1982. Prior to that, she worked for the Stan Speers Agency in Prospect. She also served as a cook at a prisoner of war Camp in Challis, Idaho, and was quite proud of her service there.

Robert E. Laird Sr., 72, of Richwood died Sunday, Aug. 22, 2004, at Marion General Hospital.
He was a 1949 graduate of Marion Harding High School and retired from the former B.F. Goodrich and Parker Hannifan in Green Camp. He was a member of Mount Carmel Lodge 303 F&AM in Richwood and Amvets Post 168 in Marion and was a volunteer at Memorial Hospital of Union County. He enjoyed walking his dog, Boo, around Richwood.

| Fred Long Fred Long, age 70 of Crown City and former resident of the Green Camp area and 20 year resident of Three Rivers, Michigan, died Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis following a short battle with cancer. He was born July 9, 1938 in Marion to the late Alfred and Martha (Bauer) Long. He married the former Betty Williams on January 22, 1988 in Three Rivers Michigan and she survives.
