He always enjoyed attending family functions. He and his wife Dora Mae spent the last 30 winters in Florida where he loved to golf. She was born April 25, 1945 in Bellefontaine to the late John Jr. and Ruth H. (White) Rider.
Janice was a 1963 graduate the Richwood High School. She then married Samuel J. Foos on March 21, 1964 at the Richwood First United Methodist Church.

James was a veteran of the Navy, he was retired after 45 yrs. from P.P.&G in Delaware working in the SOD Dept.
James loved to fish, having participated in many catfish tournaments at the Delaware Reservoir, he also enjoyed playing golf, Windy Acres was a favorite place, listening to his son play country music and attending his shows. James was a Tennessee Vols Fan. He lived an enjoyable life.

He was born April 26, 1939 in Plain City to the late Samuel Walter “Jack” and Ruth Isabella (Andrews) Ford. He was also preceded in death by a son, Charles A. Ford, a grandson, Joshua Luna, and three sisters, Louella Carr, Mary Wing and Linda Vinson.
On September 16, 1962 he married the former Charlotte A. Hamilton in the First Baptist Church in Richwood and she survives.

She was born November 6, 1936 in Morral to the late John P. and Viola G. (Hickman) Smith.
On September 10, 1955 she married Thomas D. Ford in the LaRue United Methodist Church and he died May 15, 2013. She was also preceded in death by a "grandchild", Noel Ford.
