John F. Oates John F. Oates, 76 of the Byhalia area, died peacefully Wednesday May 18, 2022 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He had fought cancer for 5 years.
He was born December 17, 1945 in Kenton to the late Arhl Sr. and Gail (Robinson) Oates. John graduated from the first class of the Ridgemont Golden Gophers, in 1964. William D. “Bill” Carpenter ed fishing, woodworking, hunting, farming and just puttering around his shop. Bill was a former member of the Magnetic Springs UMC.
