Rex L. Rodgers ere, he played on the varsity basketball team.
Mr. Rodgers retired in 1978 from Marion Power Shovel Co. He worked there 35 years and was foreman of the tool shop. He was a member of Prospect United Methodist Church, K. of P. Lodge in Prospect, and Prospect Lodge No. 444, F.&A.M. He also was active with Prospect Senior Citizens and was a member of Mill Creek Golf Club.

He was a veteran of World War I, member of the First United Methodist Church of Richwood and graduated from Richwood High School in 1914 and from Ohio State University in 1918. He is a 50 year member of Mt. Carmel Lodge F.&A.M. in Richwood.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and retired from the S.C.M. Plant in Ashtabula on June 1,1986, after many years of service. He had been previously associated with the Masonic Lodge in Ashtabula and was active with the Kingsville Public Library where he worked with the Friends of the Library.
