He was born Sept. 7, 1921, in Greenup, Ky., to the late John Hayden and
Emily Dell Pennington Hay and was predeceased by several brothers and a
sister.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Jane Harraman Hay whom he married
Jan. 5, 1946; a son, John Hayden Hay of Sunbury; four daughters, Bonnie

Seaman Harraman She married Rufus M. Smith July 26, 1946, in Marion
and he died Sept. 27, 1993. She was also predeceased by two brothers and
two sisters.
She is survived by two sisters, Elma Wood of Richwood and Martha Jane
Hay of Lockbourne; and several nieces and nephews
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Ballinger Funeral
Home in Richwood. The Rev. Fred Cheney will officiate and burial will be
