George Franklin Oliver Sr., 73, of Richwood died Sunday, Jan. 19, 2003,
at his home after a two-month illness.
He was a painter and was employed by Joe E. Davis Realtors. He was of
the Baptist faith and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He was born March 24, 1929, in Crown City to the late Jasper Franklin
and Mary Leona Rice Oliver.

| Helen Marie Oliver Helen Marie Oliver, 75 of Marion died Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. She was born February 27, 1933 in Lawrence County to the late Jesse Gilbert and Virtie (Higgens) Nance.
On March 4, 1949 she married George Oliver and he died January 19, 2003.
She had been a cook at the Brown’s House restaurant in Marion for several years. Her favorite thing to do was go yard sale shopping.

He was bom April 8, 1910, in Ostrander, the son of the late Robert Reed and Mollie (Fields) Robertson.
He married Nellie Marie in 1933, and she died in 1968.
