Rachel Eleanor Newhouse wood High School, she was a homemaker and a dedicated and lifelong member of the Richwood First Baptist Church and its Annie Richards Circle.
She was bom Dec. 28, 1913, in Union County to the late Walter and Lulu Mae Flesher Ransome and was predeceased by a brother and a sister. On Sept. 6, 1938, at the home of her grandfather, Abram Ransome, near Rich-wood she married Guy Newhouse and he died Aug. 3, 1991.

Anna L. Parish Anna L. Parish age 88 of Richwood died peacefully Thursday evening, January 31, 2008 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born February 26, 1919 in Richwood to the late William P. and Gladys M. (Park) Ransome. On January 28, 1940 she married Olin E. Parish at the Richwood Baptist parsonage and he survives in Richwood.

He was born in Jackson Township to the late Clarence Anson and Lenna Rae (Watkins) Parish, he was also preceded in death by his wife Anna Lucille (Ransome), they were married January 28, 1940 at the Richwood First Baptist Church parsonage and she died January 31, 2008, also preceding him in death were five brothers and 2 sisters.

Linda S. Parsons unexpectedly Monday, February 13, 2017 at Marion General Hospital following a 4-year illness. She fought a courageous battle and had been a pillar of strength to her family.
She was born June 1, 1945 in Marion to Abram N. Ransome and Ruth E. (Shields) Ransome Webb. She was preceded in death by her father and her step-father, Leonard Webb Sr.

Harold Brown Simmons rman U-boats as part of Task Force 22.5, Division 13. Harold finished his navel career at Puget Sound, Seattle, WA. A life-long farmer, he also worked at the Whirlpool Corp in Marion for 30 yrs.
