Gary was a free spirit and a people person; he loved having fun and was willing to help anyone at any time. He cherished his time camping (Riverbend at Caledonia was a favorite) and was known to portray “Jolly Old St. Nick” during Christmas time (he had fun with this).

A Mount Victory man lost his life in a one-car crash that occurred just north of Raymond in Union County on Ohio 739 at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday Oct 2, 1973.
Pronounced dead at the scene was Jerry R. Orth, 26, of RR 1, Mount Victory.
